The 2021 AWFS® Fair will feature North America's largest gathering of woodworking equipment and technology, as well as the largest selection of hardware, tooling, components, power tools, manufacturing software, lumber, panel and construction material. The fair will also show case an endless array of supplies for furniture, cabinet, millwork manufacturers and custom woodworking shops of all sizes.
Nordfab will demonstrate our new easy-to-use, online tool for designing dust collection ductwork installations. Quick-Fit Visual® (QFV®) provides automatic calculation of duct sizing, static pressure loss, and system requirements, quotations and visual 3D plans; installation documents; and .dwg drawings for use with CAD to incorporate duct system into facility installation plans. Nordfab’s booth will also include hands-on demonstrations of Quick-Fit® clamp-together ducting which allows fast and easy installation, and samples of our 14 gauge and 12 gauge ductwork, especially suitable for handling abrasive materials and for installation in high wear areas of the ducting system. Quick-Fit clamp-together ductwork is available in sizes up to 24" diameter. Nordfab duct with flanged end connections is available in diameters up to 72 inches.
Nordfab offers a number of ducting components specifically designed for woodworking, including the new Drop Out Box. The Drop Out Box (shown at left) stops large wood chips in the airstream; inside the duct, deflectors knock chips downward into the built-in hopper.
Booth visitors can request demonstrations of NordCAD™ 3.2AX, our CAD-based tool to assist with designing Nordfab ductwork installations. NordCAD allows a CAD user to place 2D illustrations of Nordfab QF Ducting and flanged ducting components into a CAD drawing.
