Nordfab Pty Ltd supplied and installed a dust collection system, that consisted of a eCONO 4000 twin bag dust collector and Nordfab ducting, for a cabinet manufacturer, in Victoria.
The dust collector was selected to filter and extract timber dust from a number of wood working machinery on site, including a Multicam CNC, edge bander and panel saw.
The eCONO 4000 S, is a shaker type dust collector, capable of up to 4,000 m3/h of airflow delivered by a powerful 4 kW high efficiency centrifugal fan. The dust collector filters are especially suited to timber wood dust, due to the large diameter cylindrical bag which enables easy dust release during the cleaning cycle. The eCONO 4000 is fabricated from 1.5 mm and 3 mm thick Galvanised sheet metal panels which ensures a long and productive life against heavy use and corrosion. The dust collector is operated by a control panel that is supplied with the unit. Included are 2 x 185 L dust bags. Optional items to assist in lowering the sound levels are, Fan 85 dBA @ 1 m, silencer: reduced by 8 dBA or an acoustic box: reduced by 8 dBA
